All of our yarn is made from our registered flock of North Country Cheivots The wool from our flock is vastly different from the superwash wool found readily around Canda. Our Cheviots produce a fluffy and bulky wool. Our sheep are bunk fed which reduces the amount of Vegetable matter in our fleeces which makes our wool a better quality than most.
Environmentally Processed
All of our yarns are processed at a local mill. Our wool is minimally processed without the use of harsh chemicals. Thus all of the natural characteristics of our wool is maintained. Our wool resists felting, (unless you really work at it) so this processing technique is perfect.

Our 2 ply North Country Cheviot yarn is a lofty woolen spun light weight yarn perfect for for Knitting and Crocheting. Our light weight yarn is perfect for those patterns calling for a “worsted” weight yarn.
